It is an easy and quick Indian sweet recipe made with milk solids and bread roll. An easier version of the popular bengali rasmalai made with Chenna and milk rabri. Ingredients of Mango Bread Rasmalai
- It's of Milk.
- It's of Sugar.
- It's of Cardamom powder.
- You need of Condensed milk.
- You need of Rose water.
- Prepare of mango puree.
- It's of Milk bread.
Cut the bread slices into round shape and soak them in milk. Take out immediately and press lightly to squeeze out milk. Place it in a plate and spread the stuffing evenly on the slice. Prepare all the slices this way.pour basundi on the rasmalai.
Mango Bread Rasmalai step by step
- Take out the pulp of fresh ripened mango, blend it in a blender and make a smooth puree..
- Cut bread slices into any shape of your choice (using a cookie cutter, glass, katori etc) removing it's brown edges..
- Take milk in a thick base pan, add sugar, cardamom powder and let it come to boil at medium flame. When it comes to boil reduce the flame and keep stirring for good 20-25 mins. Don’t let the milk get stick to the pan..
- After you get the desired consistency, add rose water and mix just before switching off the flame..
- Remove pan from flame, add condensed milk, mango puree and give it a good mix..
- Arrange bread slices in a serving bowl and pour the prepared thick milk on it. Let it cool for 15 mins in fridge..
- Garnish it will edible rose petals, dry fruits or diced mango cubes according to your preference and serve..
How to make Bread Rasmalai: Put milk in a heavy bottom pan and bring it to boil on high heat. Once it starts boiling keep the flame to low and cook the milk till it starts thickening and reduce to half. Keep on stirring in between so that it does not stick to the pan. Bread Rasmalai is an instant version of traditional rasmalai. Take half part of the oreo biscuit in which there is no cream stuck.
