Recipe: Delicious Walnut Sheera

Walnut Sheera. Here is a unique sheera made with walnuts! It has a fantastic texture and interesting flavour that is worth savouring. Just place a spoonful of the Walnut Sheera on your palate and keep it there for a few seconds to enjoy the special taste.

Walnut Sheera Walnut is a wrinkled biggish nut that is encased in a very hard shell. Unlike most sheeras in which nuts feature as a garnish, here two popular nuts - cashew and walnut - come to the centre stage as the main bulk of the sheera. While the walnuts are coarsely powdered, the cashews are broken, so that there is a good balance of textures, combining a rich graininess and an exciting crunch as well. Ingredients of Walnut Sheera

  1. It's of suji/semolina.
  2. It's of warm milk.
  3. Prepare of sugar or as per taste.
  4. It's of chopped walnuts.
  5. Prepare of raisins.
  6. It's of elaichi powder.
  7. You need of ghee.

Meanwhile, heat the ghee in a non-stick kadhai and add the semolina and sauté over a slow flame for a minute.   1. Firstly take a bowl or a glass & pour warm milk into it, then add sugar & mix until it gets dissolved into the milk completely. Keep it aside..
  2. Now take a kadai. Add 2 tbsp of ghee to it & add chopped walnuts and raisins to it. Fry them until it turns slightly golden in colour.. Walnut Sheera
  3. Then add suji to it. Fry everything for about 2 mins. Then add milk & sugar mixture to it.. Walnut Sheera

  4. Give everything a good mix then cook it on a low flame until it starts forming a dough consistency & ghee starts releasing from the sheera. Finally add 1 more tbsp of ghee to it & mix it well with the sheera & serve hot..
