- You need of bread slices.
- You need of semolina/suji.
- Prepare of curd.
- You need of ginger chilli paste/grated.

Bread Dhokla step by step
- Take bread slices, cut it from sides, roughly tear them and grind them juts like bread crumbs..
- In a mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs, semolina/suji, curd, ginger chillis paste, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, oil, add little water (around 1 cup) at a time and make a smooth paste..
- Allow the batter to rest for 15-20 mins. Whisk it well add some more water if needed, the consistency of the batter needs to be like idlli batter. Meanwhile grease a baking dish/tray/bowl well with oil, and boil water in a kadhai/steamer. Now add the baking soda and lemon juice, whisk it immediately and pour it into the baking dish/tray/bowl..
- Once the water starts to boil, put the baking dish/bowl into the steamer or kadhai (if using kadhai then place one stand and then put the baking dish/bowl over it). Cover and allow it to cook for 15-20 mins on a medium flame, check it with the help of knife/fork, if it comes out clean, then your DhokLa is ready..
- Take out the baking dish and allow it cook down and cut it as per your desired shape..
- For the tadka, heat some oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & sesame seeds once it starts to splutter add hing, curry leaves, green chillies, fry it for few seconds, add coriander leaves, lemon juice, next add sugar, water and allow it boil for 2 mins, once it done pour the tadka over the dhokla pieces..
- Lastly garnish the dhokla pieces with some grated coconut and aloo bhujiya and it's done..
For the final seasoning, heat the oil in a small saucepan. When hot, sprinkle in the mustard and sesame seeds. When the mustard seeds pop, crackle and turn greyish, and the sesame seeds are a few shades darker and fragrant, pour and spread the seasoning over the dhokla. Bread ka dhokla is made out of ready made regular English breads. I am calling it Dhokla because bread is made out of fermented flour and we make the seasoning like we do in regular Dhokla.
